Between Seeing

Between Seeing is an ongoing project exploring the space between clarity and uncertainty — moments where the subject is present but not fully resolved. The images are made without the need to define or explain what is seen, allowing perception, movement, and intuition to guide the frame.

This work sits between observation and feeling. Focus may soften, forms may blur, and familiar subjects are often partially obscured or framed in ways that interrupt direct recognition. Nature remains central, not as a scene to be described, but as something sensed — held briefly before it slips away.

Rather than documenting a place or object, Between Seeing reflects how we experience the world in passing: through fragments, edges, colour, and light. These photographs invite a slower look, encouraging the viewer to remain in that in-between moment where seeing becomes less about certainty and more about presence.
